I was raised in the shadow of the Big Apple, leaving me with an insatiable hunger for greatness.

Hailing from New Jersey suburbs, Meg has actually spent the last 3 years building her sailing career abroad. Despite having no prior sailing experience, in 2013 Meg left her job on Madison Avenue to pursue her ultimate dream – sailing around the world.

One year, 5 ocean crossings and 45,000 NM later … Meg’s team won the Clipper Round the World Race, solidifying her career in the offshore sailing industry. Since her circumnavigation, Meg has worked for the Volvo Ocean Race, Offshore Sailing School, and co-founded Canada’s only offshore racing program: Canadian Ocean Racing. Meg’s mission is to share the gift of sailing with as many people as possible, knowing from personal experience that anyone can become a sailor!

Meg uses her professional experience as a communicator and marketer to develop sailing brands, teams and organizations both locally and abroad. Her approach to business has a strong focus on partnerships and leveraging her personal story to inspire others.
